After years of managing patients, plans, and priorities in the dental field, my passion for creativity was calling me to explore new opportunities. This desire for a more fulfilling career led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in UX/UI design. Throughout my studies, I discovered a profound love for crafting user-centered experiences that make a difference.
I bring years of real-world experience in empathic listening, critical thinking, and stakeholder communication into every project I work on. My path from dental to digital may be unconventional, but it’s rooted in the same purpose: helping people feel understood, supported, and confident in their next steps.
As a UX/UI designer, I’m committed to creating seamless, thoughtful experiences that prioritize real human needs. My background in patient-centered environments taught me to listen carefully, think critically, and design with empathy at every step.
I'm especially drawn to the details that are easy to overlook—the subtle friction points, quiet patterns, and user behaviors that reveal what people truly need. With each project, I strive to bring clarity, care, and connection to the final experience.
The client had been relying on a robust third-party online ordering engine and platform, but it lacked the flexibility to match their growing business and custom needs of their operations. I was brought in for one primary objective: Design their new internal systems to eliminate their pain points, while also allowing for the same intuitive feel that their team members were used to.
Throughout this project, we worked in multiple iterative design sprints, breaking down a complex connection of systems into smaller, digestible sections. The sections that we focused on were: Promo Management, Store Hours (there is a lot that goes into Store Hours besides just opening/closing!), Order Queueing, Throttling, Upsells.
This was a fast-paced, collaborative addition to an existing product. I joined the project at the final stage to help design and implement a homepage UI element that introduces a new batch import tool. Through pair programming and quick iteration, I contributed UI options and supported the final decision that shipped with the release.
We implemented a clean, contextual UI component that gave users a clear entry point to the new feature, with minimal disruption to their existing workflows. This addition was well-received internally and shipped with the final update.
